You can also chat on the website in real time if there are problems with the forum. Why do I need a password for certain forums? The private photo forum requires a password because we think our users photos should be safe and as secure as we can make them. The Margaritaville forum has a password because it deals with alcoholic beverages, such as wine pairings and the like. The website doesn't have such restrictions. For Margaritaville, you just need to be over 21 and request it from an admin or mod. For the photo forum, once you've posted a bit and you feel like you know people and they know you, ask an admin for it. If at first you aren't given the password, please don't be offended. Some of us have had negative experiences with our photos being posted elsewhere. You keep mentioning mods and admins...who are these mythical people? If you have pictures you would like stored on the Anti Board image host, please email them to me at CassandraCross@optonline.net, making sure to put BOARD PICS in the subject line so I can rescue you from junk mail, and I'll store them and send you the code to post them. When you receive the code, just copy and paste it into a reply window. How do I do stuff? How do I use the features of proboards? Well, some of the features may change with the release of Proboards 4, but for now, TivonaD posted a good tutorial which I will repost here: To make a link look like a word, click the picture of the world in the "Add Tags" area of the message-posting screen. If you hover, it will say "Insert Hyperlink". You'll have [url] and [/url] . In between those two, type the word you want to be the clicky, like, "click here" or "Tiv Is The Best Person Ever". After the first "url", add an equal sign and then the hyperlink. OK, is there more I can do (and please, no more monster pictures)? Of course: to quote someone, click on this: OK, click on "profile" and all you have to do is check off that you are using your own avatar, and put in the URL of the image you are using. Make sure that whatever image you are using allows remote hosting. If not, you can email me the image and I can store it on the Cassandra Crossing storage account. Then you click the "change profile" button and you're done. OH! And you should limit the avatar to no bigger than 90X90. If you're REALLY stuck, give me the image URL and I can do it for you. Email me and I'll manually reset it for you. Why did my post get locked/disappear? The FAQ is constantly evolving and all that tripe. Keep checking back for more stuff to be added.

Who is Cassandra?
Cassandra received the power to foretell the future from the god Apollo. Apparently, Apollo instructed the mortal woman and taught her about the art of prophecy because he had an ulterior motive - the god wished to win her affections. Cassandra accepted Apollo as a teacher, but not as a lover. Naturally, the god was insulted by this refusal. So he punished Cassandra. Apollo caused the gift that he gave Cassandra to be twisted, making everyone who heard her true and accurate foretellings of future events believe that they were instead hearing lies.
So why is the forum named after her?
Because.

OK. Because the antis on the Food TV forums would tell the truth about Sandra Lee, and the fandras wouldn't believe. So...um...yeah.
What are antis and fandras again?
Antis are against the crap that Sandra Lee calls food. Fandras think Sandra Lee is the second coming. Of what, we have no idea.
Is Sandra Lee evil?
Pretty much, yeah.
Can I be a mod on the forum?
No.
Can I be an admin on the forum?
No.
Because we're evil prudes. Actually, we have but one main rule: don't attack each other. Attacking each other could result in you being asked to play someplace else. And follow the TOS for proboards. We like this place and don't want to lose it because people can't behave.
If you have image storage, then click on the 
and insert your image URL in place of the "URL"
So what it'll look like is this:

You don't want to click this, but I know you will anyway.
To insert a picture into your post, click the little icon in the "Add tags" area that looks like a teeny little landscape on a button (). It'll say "Insert Image" when you hover. When you click, you'll get [img][/img]
Now, this is where it gets complicated. Not really.
Find the picture you want on another webpage and right click directly on it. Scroll allllllll the way down to "properties" and select that. You'll get a screen that pops up on your screen. Ignore all of it but the "Address" field. Highlight that and press cntrl + C to copy. Click in between the two "img" tags and paste it. That's all.
Some sites won't allow remote hosting, and it's not nice to put too large a picture in, as it messes up the screen for some folks, so be sure to "preview" your post first and make sure you won't be startling people with a large picture of a monster.

and then position the cursor between the [quote] [/quote] and paste your text or type your quote.
To bold, click the B, then replace the word "text" with the word/words you want bold. Same for italics (I), underline, glow, shadow, marquee, font face, font size, and font color. Just remember to replace the TEXT with your own text!
you can also just use the tags (which are helpful when you want to use more than one special effect in a sentence or to a word):
[b] bold [/b] end bold
[i] italic [/i] end italic
[glow=red,2,300] glow red (change the color to change the glow color) [/glow] ends glow
[font=Verdana] font style [/font] end font
[color=Blue] font color (type in color you want where blue" is) [/color] end color
[move] marquee [/move] end marquee
[size=2] font size (change size from 0-10) [/size]
Because the subject/replies got inane. We, also, talked about it to death in Admin and were done with the subject and found it time for it to go away as will you if you don't drop it.
